The intention of this post-graduate course is to review and deepen our understanding of biodynamic principles in clinical work. Within Craniosacral Biodynamics, the Breath of Life is understood to be the conveyor of a universal Intelligence. All of life is maintained by its creative intention. The Breath of Life generates the universal forces that underpin the genesis of all form and underpins embryological formation. This course focuses upon the inherent healing processes orchestrated by the Breath of Life and the potency it generates in the human system. Conceptual and clinical frameworks will be introduced that help orient practitioners to its action and presence. A series of perceptual and clinical exercises will be explored that, in a graded manner, aid in the clarification and deepening of these concepts and phenomena. This can have direct impact upon clinical outcomes, allow the practitioner greater ease in session work, and hopefully deepen participant’s trust in the intelligence present in the human system.
Areas explored include the nature of the inherent treatment plan, the relational field, the pivotal nature of the holistic shift as a fundamental starting point in session work, orientation to the three bodies – the physical, fluid and tidal bodies – the unfolding of the inherent treatment plan as a function of primary respiration and the Intelligence of the human system, fluid tide dynamics, Long Tide and field phenomena, the three bodies perceived as a suspensory system – field suspended within field, all suspended within Dynamic Stillness, embryological forces and the primal midline, the energetic and physical refolding/reorganization of the tissue field as embryological forces come to the forefront, the Dynamic Stillness as a gateway to a relationship with the Breath of Life.
